"A low-key pineapple-cake shop with simple signage and minimally processed, locally sourced ingredients; the chopped-walnut pineapple cake is recommended for extra nuttiness and texture." - Leslie Nguyen-Okwu

Quaint little shop in the corner of the street. The interior was seems to be preserved in the 90s. When I was there, there were a few Japanese customers buying pastries and I bought walnut pineapple tart with oolong and it was really delicious, not too sweet and had a light tea fragrance. As there were no preservatives added, the shell life is quite short. Great friendly service! Will definitely visit again.

A local bakery with high standards! Fresh, daily made with quality ingredients, no preservatives nor artificial additions. Recommend its pineapple pastry and green-bean-pastry.

Came here on a whim but was pleasantly surprised by the cookies and cakes here. All natural with no preservatives too. It's a hidden gem for sure.

Excellent pineapple cake made with good ingredients and without baking soda. The best we've had in Taiwan. Nice buttery crust and not too sweet. Very friendly as well. Support this small shop instead of the larger more famous ones!

The bagels here are lowkey amazing. Firm, shiny outside and soft, chewy inside. 10/10. Pretty much everything here is good. They are proud of their quality ingredients and dedicated to their craft.

Yelp
Best pineapple cake I've had in Taiwan! It had just the right filling to cake ratio. This shop is so cute and definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
This is a tiny shop that sells organic Taiwanese pineapple cakes. According to my friend, Japanese tourists go to this spot to get their pineapple cakes because they like the organic aspect. They also sell fresh milk and breads which my friend tells me are quite good as well. Their pineapple cakes are a mix of wintermelon and pineapple. They aren't as good as the ones I like to get from my favorite bakery in Tainan, but these are still pretty good. They have a regular one and one with walnuts in the filling. It costs extra for the fancy box, so you can just buy them individually and they will wrap it in a brown paper bag. The pineapple cakes last two weeks, but they lady told me you can put them in the freezer to last a few months. Just toast them in the oven for 1-2 min. before eating.
