Hibino Chūka Shokudō

Very light for Chinese, but enough volume to fill you up.

The very uncomfortable experience we had. We brought our 2.5-year-old for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We have been out dining with our kids many times, of course, we do know the regular rules in Japanese restaurants. The waiter kept staring at our kid forbade him to play with his stuff and kept talking about rules in the dining like you are not allowed to sit on the couch with the shoes even if he is not putting his feet on it.

Great Japanese take on Chinese food. Very nice and cozy atmosphere that makes the space feel elevated even with the relatively cheap price of the food.

We arrived right at opening time (5:00 pm) and politely asked for a table. As the first guests there, we were surprised when the waiter briefly checked and then simply said “fully booked“ - without so much as a “sorry” or any further explanation. We ended up sitting in a café across the street, and even after 45 minutes, the restaurant remained completely empty. It gave the impression that we were turned away for reasons unrelated to availability, which was disappointing—especially since we had been genuinely looking forward to dining there. Overall, a rather negative impression, unfortunately.

代々木上原の南口1から徒歩30秒のところにある中華料理屋さん。 休日の夜に予約して伺いました。 お店の前がかなり急な坂道なので全身ツルツルの人は登れないかも。 店内はテーブル席と、奥にカウンターも少しある。 ちょっと暗めでバーみたいな雰囲気もあっておしゃれです。でも静かすぎないからデート向きかも。 おまかせコースも頼めるけど要予約。この日はアラカルトで伺いました。 クラゲとトマトと胡瓜のピリ辛和え、 タコとアボカドの山椒風味、焼き小籠包、パクチー入り焼き餃子、海老のマンゴーマヨネーズ、ラムチョップの麻辣炒め、五目チャーハン をいただきました。 どれも安定して美味しいです。 タコとアボカドのやつがしっかり山椒で個人的に好きだった。 あと海老のやつはでっかいプリプリ海老でかなり食べ応えある。マンゴーの甘さを合わせるのが苦手な人は普通のエビチリもあります。 値段高すぎないしちゃんと美味しいし駅近やし雰囲気いいので体がツルツルの人以外はおすすめ。 全身脱毛も考えものやな。

地元の友人に連れて行っていただいた、大人気のお店です。駅前の坂の途中にあり、テラスからしてお洒落で期待感が膨らみました。 ランチコースはヌーベルシノワで最高でした。全てのお料理が美味しくかつボリュームもあり、男性陣にも満足のいく内容でした。個人的には見たことない器づかいにも魅了されました。 また訪問したいと思います。ご馳走様でした。202602 PS. 併設のお菓子やさんはお休み中だそうです。

友人とゆっくり食事がしたくて訪問。 中華という雰囲気よりも自宅に招かれたアットホームな雰囲気。 前菜の盛合せがマストだと思います。 当日のメニューにアワビが追加されていて満足度高めでした。 おすすめのクリスピーチキンも、小籠包も、炊き込みご飯も美味しかった。 麻婆豆腐も頼みたかった😂 杏仁豆腐がとぅるんとぅるんのやつで美味しかったです。 あと瓶ビール派としては赤星で最高でした。
