The beef short ribs were thick, smoky, and had such an amazing bite. The seasoning wasn’t overpowering it soaked in just enough to keep every bite flavorful without getting heavy. Listening to the sizzle on the grill while taking that first bite honestly felt like pure happiness. Pair it with the cold noodles and you’ve got the perfect combo. Definitely a must try!

The broiled brisket was divine. I would have ordered more of it if I had the space for it! Very competitively priced for 25k won, ~17.30 USD at time of review. Ambiance was nice and staff were a joy.

The bulgogi here isn’t greasy at all, and it’s cooked just right with a nice fluffy texture that makes it a perfect rice stealer 🍚. The side dishes are all neat and well prepared, and the clean space makes it an ideal place to bring your parents. The bibim naengmyeon is nutty and not too spicy, so anyone can enjoy it comfortably.

Located in the heart of Jongno, the place is actually close to the popular attraction but this place usually packed with locals since it’s quite hidden.
Their specialty is wooden cooked steak but since we only went there with only 3 people we chose the seasoned meat salad and just bulgogi instead.
No wonder this place is popular among locals because the meat and seasoning are well matched to the local’s palate. I have no complaints at all about the taste because I found it delicious too. I just wish I could order their specialty instead.
Quick service, moderately friendly staff and the toilet even had a bidet. So it’s a win for a tourist like me. Love it!

'Sajikro' Seoul is a must-visit Korean restaurant near Gyeongbokgung Palace. The combination of oak-grilled galbi and Doenjang Jjigae is simply perfect.

This place is a must-visit for meat lovers! The oak-grilled short rib steak was juicy and full of flavor, and the bulgogi was so tender that even my kids loved it. It’s not too heavy on seasoning, so you can really taste the quality of the meat. Definitely one of the top Korean BBQ spots in Seoul!
