"You’ll feel like an insider just for finding Moonbird Coffee, since the only signage is a small sandwich board outside Southbound, a restaurant built in a 19th-century general store in downtown Chamblee. The cafe serves all the usual suspects here (drip coffee, lattes, mochas, cappuccinos, and cold brew), as well as seasonal specialty drinks like lavender lattes and spicy Mexican mochas. All of the beans are sourced from CoffeeM, a Lawrenceville-based roaster. Tea drinkers will find a selection loose-leaf teas and tea lattes, all made with Chamblee’s ZenTea." - Jennifer Bradley Franklin
