15 Best Bars in Florence | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located among the designer stores of chic Via Tornabuoni, Procacci has been a classic Florentine watering hole since 1885—just the sort of place where ladies who shop would stop off for a glass of something cool and a tiny bite of lunch between sprints. Now owned by the Antinori wine-growing family, it has retained an elegant, old-fashioned air in spite of a recent revamp; the room has a mahogany, marble-topped bar counter, wood shelves stacked with bottles, a terrazzo marble floor, and tall tables with high stools. When you come here, there are a few classics worth ordering: the Antinori house prosecco, the Franciacorta fizz, wine, or tomato juice, and to soak it all up, a few of the tiny, delicate sandwiches—particularly the ones made with truffle cream." - Coral Sisk
