@izakayajuraku I grew up in California, studied French cooking and then Japanese cooking, and moved to Japan to study it the right way. I came back to the US worked in fine dining in NYC for years before realizing my true calling. In 2018 I opened Izakaya Juraku so people could enjoy real Japanese comfort food without barriers.
