"Austin’s iconic 24/7 diner Stars Cafe — formerly known as Star Seeds — is closing after 58 years because of the forthcoming I-35 highway expansion. Its last day of service at 3101 I-35 North Frontage Road in the Cherrywood neighborhood will be on Sunday, November 10. The diner is known for its all-hours services and affordable diner food menu. It was originally opened in 1966 as Star Seeds and has gone through several ownership changes, with the current owners, Deitrich Armstrong and AJ Johnson, taking over in 2022 and reinstating the 24/7 service." - Nadia Chaudhury
