"Slab, the West Third Street barbecue restaurant from Burt Bakman (Trudy’s Underground Barbecue) and the H.Wood Group, is moving into Pasadena next. The growing group has been quietly been plotting a larger expansion, and now will land at 812 S. Arroyo Parkway, just doors down from the incoming Howlin’ Ray’s and other popular options like Superba Snacks + Coffee and Shake Shack. Keys are in hand now for the new Slab on Arroyo Parkway, but the opening is still a ways off; expect a reveal sometime in early 2022, most likely.
