"Debuting a second, larger location at 1013 Fulton Street near Grand Avenue in Clinton Hill (opened November 1), this outpost carries essentially the same menu as the Bed-Stuy sibling—nontraditional congee made with a mix of white rice, quinoa and brown rice, including braised chicken, vegan and pork preparations, customizable add-ons, and the preserved duck egg signature. The Clinton Hill cafe offers plenty of inside seating, welcomes laptops for work-from-home customers, will for the first time serve beer and wine on tap pending a liquor license, operates 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, and continues to pair its bowls with the general-store pantry items and coffee that defined the original location." - Emma Orlow
