"Barile, located at 300 South Lamar Boulevard, replaced Flour & Vine on May 11 under chef and owner Vangjel A. Bylyku. Barile’s menu focuses on southern Italian coastal fare, including seafood dishes like clams casino and grilled octopus with squid ink tagliatelle, as well as flatbread pizza, pastas, and heartier entrees like chicken breasts, steaks, and pork shanks. Desserts include Nutella crepes, tiramisu, and gelato served in an orange brûlée cup. Weekend brunch offers dishes like chicken and waffles, hot brown sandwiches, and steak and eggs. The restaurant also features a long wine list, mezcal pours, beers, and cocktails, managed by Jacob Hinojosa. Barile’s hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with brunch served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends." - Nadia Chaudhury
