"ASW became the first whiskey distillery in the city of Atlanta since Prohibition when it opened nearly five years ago along Armour Drive. The distillery now produces a selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and a single malt from its flagship Armour Drive facility, run by master distiller Justin Manglitz. ASW’s custom-built, dual Vendome copper pot system includes transparent U tubes encased in glass, which allows Manglitz to see the distillate flowing from the condenser. The system was built specifically for ASW and has since been replicated by other distilleries around the country — one being Jim Beam." - Beth McKibben
