"Geppetto, an Italian restaurant by chef Will Gilson, opened this fall for in-person dining after pivoting to takeout during the pandemic. The restaurant, located in a building with its siblings the Lexington and Cafe Beatrice, originally started as a takeout and delivery service in early 2021, which saved the business. The menu includes dishes like beet cavatelli with corned beef, ribeye topped with a bagna cauda croquette, and panzanella made with New England molasses bread. Other highlights include tuna and lardo crudo, smoked short rib carpaccio, endive Caesar, handmade pastas by pastaiolo Tony Susi, and desserts by pastry chef Brian Mercury.
