"A historic LGBTQ establishment that reopened Thursday, February 27—nearly a year after a fire gutted the building. According to reporting, a garbage truck struck a utility pole in March 2024, causing electrical wires to fall on the building’s gas supply and destroying the property. The bar dates back to the 1950s and is said to be the oldest gay bar in Minnesota and among the oldest operating in the country." - Serena Maria Daniels
