"A rooftop restaurant from San Miguel de Allende, I learned Quince opened in Austin at 3825 Lake Austin Boulevard, Suite 201 in Tarrytown on October 11 as the third overall location (original opened in San Miguel in 2016; the first stateside spot opened in Fort Worth in March 2023). I found its menu deliberately broad and international—everything from sushi and ceviches to yakimeshi (Japanese fried rice), pasta, grilled meats, burgers, seafood and breakfast dishes—and a lengthy drinks program that includes morning smoothies, juices, bloody mary and mimosa bars, teas, plus cocktails heavy on margaritas and a variety of carajillos. The restaurant also houses an internal bakery, Boulangerie Bleu, making French pastries, and an in-house sushi bar called Onna; menus were developed by executive chef Gonzalo Martinez. While Quince’s Austin hours weren’t disclosed, I was told it typically operates in the afternoon and evenings." - Nadia Chaudhury
