"A family-owned Nepali comfort-food operation that began at the Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller in 2021 during the pandemic, this eatery serves Himalayan-spiced dishes such as pork belly, grilled chicken, and vegetarian and chicken momo (dumplings), accompanied by house sauces including co-owner Renu Mama’s Sherpa black sauce and Sherpa chili oil. Cooking duties are split among family members—Sajja Dijju is the “momo queen,” Pukar Bhai mans the grill, and veteran restaurateur Suresh Baba fills in as needed. Growing demand prompted expansion into a food truck that operates seven days a week with the same market menu; the family still sells at the Texas Farmers' Market at Mueller on Sundays (10 a.m.–2 p.m.) and at the Texas Farmers' Market at Lakeline on Saturdays (9 a.m.–1 p.m.), and they now accept DoorDash orders." - Courtney E.
