"Coming from Colorado, Fat Shack promises to open soon in the southeast with a late-night–influenced menu of indulgent burgers, sandwiches, and deep-fried desserts. I note the 10-year-old, franchised chain—backed by entrepreneur Mark Cuban on a 2019 episode of Shark Tank and now in eight states—will take over a former 1,750-square-foot Burgerim corner at the intersection of Bermuda Road and Silverado Ranch Boulevard near Sea Salt Sushi & Oyster. Their specialties include stuffing an 8- or 12-inch hero roll with side-dish ingredients such as chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, French fries, mac and cheese, and plenty of bacon; they also offer burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, Buffalo wings, “munchie madness” appetizer plates, and milkshakes. Deep-fried treats like battered Oreos, Rice Krispie treats, cookies, funnel cakes, and Twinkies dusted with powdered sugar are listed on the menu but have yet to be confirmed for the Las Vegas location. The space is already announced to be open daily from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m., closing at 3 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, though an estimated debut date has not been revealed." - Bradley Martin
