"Along the restaurant row of Southeast 28th Avenue, Cheese and Crack serves snack-y trays of bruleed brie and charcuterie with house-made crackers. But visitors also frequent the shop for creamy swirls of vanilla soft serve, which are sprinkled with “dusts” in flavors like matcha or beet and come in cones filled with chocolate ganache at the bottom to prevent leakage. The shop’s vanilla soft serve is also the foundation in its sundaes — featured specials like the caramel cornflake sundae and raspberry birthday cake sundae rotate on a monthly basis, but the always excellent banana pudding sundae is worth an order, complete with luscious house-made banana pudding and Nilla wafers." - Michelle Lopez, Janey Wong
