The Best Sushi Restaurants in Portland and Beyond

"This Division-area sushi spot is the return of the now-closed, beloved Sushi Takahashi 2, a conveyor belt spot in Southwest Portland. At the casual, homey Kashiwagi, Takeo Kashiwagi tops soft pillows of rice with coho, pickled mackerel, and creamy uni, rolls maki and uramaki sushi, and fries calamari for tempura rolls. Kashiwagi is also a spot that sells inexpensive hand rolls, for those who want a more tactile sushi experience. With two-piece nigiri topping out at $8.50 and most classic rolls in the $5-$7 range, it’s also delightfully affordable." - Zoe Baillargeon
