"Hoy Wong, a 42-year-old Cantonese restaurant, closed in mid-February. It was one of the old timers that lined lower Mott Street. The decline in visitors was gradual due to gentrification, labor costs, and cheap prices. The fear of a then-remote disease had emptied the streets visibly." - Robert Sietsema
