"About a 20-minute drive from Healdsburg into Alexander Valley, Garden Creek is a small husband-and-wife operation (Justin and Karin Warnelius-Miller) that produces only two wines — a Chardonnay and a Cabernet Sauvignon — and I was surprised to learn their Cabernet spends an astounding seven years in cold, dark cellars on-site before release. Private tastings include a walk in the hillside vineyards Wednesday through Saturday and are available only to members of the winery's mailing list." - Jonathan Cristaldi
