Hori Is an Invite-Only Izakaya in NYC

"A multi-tenant building you have to pass through to reach Hori, Studio Calmplex contains a ceramics studio and a clothing boutique and informed the restaurant’s introduction-only policy; the ceramics studio is also where Hori makes the restaurant’s chopstick rests. Because guests must go through several tenants to get to the izakaya, the building’s managers and fellow tenants shaped the need for a system that keeps the restaurant from being disruptive while still allowing it to find and cultivate respectful customers." - Anna Hezel
