"Whether you’re on team dessert for breakfast or lean strictly savory, you’ll like brunch at Cafe La Maude. The French-Lebanese NoLibs restaurant serves fragrant red shakshuka and stacks of brioche pain perdu, not to mention a number of salads and sandwiches. Weekend mornings at the bistro border on chaos, so be prepared for a lengthy wait, or save Cafe La Maude for a weekday when it’s quieter. Thick layers of mascarpone get spread between fluffy, ruby red pancakes, then drenched with whipped cream and crumbly ladyfinger cookies.
