"Mantee is one of our favorite Armenian restaurants in LA. The family-run spot has a tchotchke-filled interior that feels like you’re eating lunch at a friend’s aunt’s house in Ojai. If there’s space, though, sit on the back patio. With green vines and string lights hanging overhead, the lush space feels worlds away from the noisy traffic on Ventura Blvd. As the name suggests, mantee is the specialty here: the sumac- and yogurt-covered dumplings are most popular, but the dolma and sizzling hot feta are equally worthwhile." - brant cox
