"This excellent Mexican bakery in Sunnyside is a destination for delicious, reasonably priced pan dulce, as well as flaky croissants, donuts, sourdough loaves, and even tamales and tortas. But Masa Madre’s springy, cloud-soft conchas deserve their own loyalty punch-card. They’re wonderful even in their purest vanilla form, particularly when paired with a cup of the panadería’s coffee or cinnamon-spiced hot chocolate.
