Jim’s South St. Review - Queen Village - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"After being closed due to a fire, the retro counter-service spot on South Street reopened with a familiar scene: ribeye and diced onions sizzling on a hot grill, a Serena Williams testimonial on the wall declaring Jim's cheesesteak the best sandwich she’s ever had, and a line out the door. At Jim's 2.0, you could get a standard hoagie and a pretty exceptional cheesesteak for under $15 total, but it's really the cheesesteak you're after. Bring cash (there's an ATM on-site), and maybe a beach chair for the wait so you can make a friend in line while you sit and watch someone holding a macaw like a baby." - Candis R. McLean
