"Momoya has three locations around the city, all of which serve quality sushi at prices that fit somewhere between a spot and a high-end . The Soho outpost (actually located in Nolita) looks like a massive, futuristic fish tank, and it’s a good option for when you need a last-minute place to eat with someone who’s hopefully picking up the check. If you’re feeling fancy, you can sit at the counter and do the $150 omakase, but a more reasonable option is the $39 eight-piece combo that comes with a nice selection of fish like ocean trout and Spanish mackerel. There’s also the Momoya Box with nine little chirashi bowls arranged like an advent calendar. It tastes as good as it looks, and it costs $65." - Bryan Kim
