Momo Tea

Tea store · Inner Sunset

"If we were on a deserted island, we’d wish for a Momo Tea to wash ashore. The almost entirely pink Chinese tea shop in the Sunset serves gigantic cups of milk tea that could keep you hydrated for at least a couple of days. Their tight menu is an even split between leaf- and fruit-based teas. The latter, like the white peach and yuzu lemon are solid, but don’t stand out from what's available at other tea shops in the area. Opt for narcissus or gardenia, which are floral without tasting like you were just sprayed at the Macy’s perfume counter. They’re also perfectly complemented by the tuft of whipped cream. (Sugar levels are adjustable, if the cream is already enough.) Add in some crystal boba or aloe for an extra charge. And if you have cash handy, you’ll get 10 percent off. photo credit: Patrick Wong" - Patrick Wong
