"Effie’s is a Greek BYOB in Washington Square West that only has about 15 seats inside. And while the food is good enough to warrant dropping by for some spanakopita at one of those few tables, it’s even better when their back garden is open - pretty much doubling its space on a nice night. Taken together, the food, space, and relaxed atmosphere make Effie’s a place worth knowing about and, much like your juvenile records or Halle Berry’s real age, it’s a secret you should probably keep to yourself." - Sydney McElwee
