"Like many of LA’s great old-school Italian restaurants, Guido’s has its fair share of ghosts. There’s no science behind that statement, we just feel it. And so will you when walking into the shadowy West LA dining room. Along with dark wood ceilings, cherry-colored leather booths, and antique figurines on illuminated shelves, there’s a dramatic fireplace that’s definitely held a bubbling cauldron before. The place is like eating dinner at the Winchester Mystery House. Most importantly, the food here is quite good. Pair your specter sightings with Spaghetti Casa in vodka sauce and a chocolate-drizzled tiramisu so rich the apparitions will be asking for a doggy bag. " - brant cox
