"There’s no lack of shipping container-filled yards around east London but one that’s really worth going to is in Dalston, where you’ll find 40FT Brewery. The taproom is a shared indoor and outdoor space with room for around 100 people and there are 10 beers on tap, as well as every other beverage under the sun. Food-wise, there’s a mini menu from Acme Fire Cult across the lot and, in our experience, a cold beer and a bowl of smoky potatoes rarely goes down badly." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna
