Shalimar Restaurant

Pakistani restaurant · Tenderloin

"Shalimar doesn’t have time for your pleasantries or chit-chat. You’ll get in and out of this Tenderloin spot in under 30 minutes—and for under $20. The casual Indian and Pakistani place also has a pretty bare-bones set-up: just a few tables and an open kitchen in the back. Some of the curries are a little heavy on the oil, and none of the food, from the chicken tikka masala to the saag gosht, will change your life. If you’re nearby and need to shovel something into your mouth before you transform into your hangry alter ego, this spot will do." - Julia Chen
