Couvant - Review - Central Business District - New Orleans - The Infatuation

"Sometimes you want to get some work done in a place that’s more chill than the coffee shop, with far better food. That’s when you go to Couvant. Post up at the spacious bar for some gulf shrimp and stone-ground grits that come with chorizo gravy made with sherry and lots of large shrimp cooked just until the moment they turn pink. The avocado toast is actually worth your money, too, since it’s topped with two immaculately poached eggs and served with a salad. If you’re partaking in cocktails, starting your day with the toasty, creamy St. Louis Sour featuring Maison Ferrand cognac is a good idea. RESERVE A TABLE WITH RESERVE A TABLE" - Megan Braden-Perry
