"I consider this my favorite hostel in Seattle: the dorm beds have privacy curtains and there are plenty of outlets, though the rooms aren’t very large and luggage is stored under the bottom bunk (so you’ll hear it if your bunkmate needs something). Given its central location you’ll also hear music and people late at night, so bring earplugs. The bathrooms really set it apart — they have rainfall showerheads and heated tile floors — and the hostel provides a free breakfast (eggs, cereal, fruit, and bread). There’s a communal kitchen and a common room with foosball and other games, and they run free walking tours, pub crawls, open mic nights, weekly ice cream socials, and even free museum days. It’s located across the street from Pike Place Market and the first-ever Starbucks, and is close to attractions like the Great Wheel and the Crocodile, a bar famous for live music where Nirvana and Pearl Jam have played." - Matthew Kepnes
