The 5 Best Hostels in Mexico City (Updated 2025)

"As Mexico City’s first hostel located in Roma Norte — my favorite neighborhood to stay in — Hostel Home feels super homey with colorful wall paintings, tons of potted plants, and a relaxed atmosphere. I found the beds comfortable, Wi‑Fi reliable, and free drinking water available, though rooms are a bit cramped; each dorm bed has a locker and an outlet but no privacy curtains. There’s a large common area and a guest kitchen, and the staff are very helpful with local recommendations; note that they are cash only." - Matthew Kepnes
