"Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar, Poço Dos Negros. The Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar's mission is to preserve, disseminate and study Júlio Pomar’s work in its various aspects, as well as to encourage critical reflection and debate around the arts and contemporary culture. The collection covers a wide range of works that cannot be shown on a single exhibition but will be exposed periodically, along with a program of complementary activities, practical and theoretical, involving architects, artists, curators, thinkers from different areas and public in general. The Atelier-Museu also hosts exhibitions of other artists of his and other generations, national and international, emerging and established, proposing a dialogue with the space and with the work of Júlio Pomar. The building's redevelopment is a project of the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira, integrated discreetly in the architectural of the neighbourhood. It is open from Tuesday till Sunday from 10 a.m. 6 p.m."
