"The General Staff Building, Admiralteyskaya by Nimax. Heritage museum is a well-known museum of old arts, conservative, ostentatious and also beautiful. Take one full day to study it (or more, we actually believe it's impossible to see everything there even in a week). Yet leave another day for the General Staff Building. It's a vast rounded building with a huge arch right in front of The Winter Palace on Dvortsovaya square. You won't miss it. Locals have a tendency to visit it more often then the main building which they were obliged to explore during middle school lessons. But here is another reason why: the best masterpieces of contemporary art is exposed there. No piles of sh*t on a floor, only acknowledged artists.Btw, why «The General Staff Building»? Because there is the Headquaters of Western Military District in the west wing, don't mix up the doors."
