"For us, the Forresters (at the top of Foveaux and cnr of Riley street) is the epitome of 'Surry Hills pub'. As a team we like to order a beer and a chicken schnitzel, grab a seat on one of the benches out front, sit there and silently judge the people walking in/out of the high end brothel across the street. Sound slightly uncivilised? Because it is. But that's the whole point. The Forresters isn't spruiking artisanal goats pee or kale infused caramel slice - it's just a great pub, with good beer/cider and good food. Mucho refreshing." - For the People
