On the Grid : MUAC

"Located within the University Cultural Center, MUAC (University Museum of Contemporary Art) is a contemporary art museum on the campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). MUAC opened in November 2008 and is the first museum conceived holistically, from corporate management to the architectural project of the great Teodoro González de Leon as the first public museum for contemporary art in México. It houses and exhibits the contemporary art collection of the UNAM, consisting of works of art created from 1952 onwards and are transcendent and representative in the development of contemporary art in Mexico." - Leolab
