On the Grid : Maassilo

"The Maashaven is a port for grain shipments of the Rotterdam Granary Company since 1906. The Maassilo is the biggest and most productive factory in this harbour. In the 80s – the time of automation – it became clear that the Maassilo was difficult to automate and the building got a new purpose. Today, a big part of the complex is an event location with regular major festivals of various styles. Another part of the Maassilo has been redeveloped into shared business spaces for the creative industry. Check the website for its upcoming events and before you know it you’ll be dancing all night long to some hardcore techno tunes." - Rodesk
