Antarctica

Largest US base on Antarctica, and a tight knit community of researchers, scientists, carpenters, pilots, machine operators, and others who run the station. 

Tony went on a helicopter ride with pilot Ryan Skorecki, who flies scientists around the continent to remote areas. He pointed out Mount Lister from the sky.

On the helicopter ride, they also saw Mount Erebus, the southernmost active volcano on Earth.

One of the most oldest and legendary base camps. Everything comes in by helicopter. The manager at the camp is said to be the best cook on the continent. She made grilled pork tenderloin, grilled mahi sticks, shrimp marinated in chili sauce, homemade sourdough bread, roasted beet salad, edamame salad, roasted vegetables.
