"Housed within a magnificent 18th-century building in Copenhagen’s historic centre, this trio of intimate apartments is meticulously curated as a living tribute to Danish design. Conceived by founders Jens Løkke and Uffe Buchard, who were frustrated by falling in love with hotel furnishings they couldn’t bring home, the space removes that barrier so that everything—from iconic Finn Juhl furniture and Louis Poulsen lighting to custom Københavns Møbelsnedkeri kitchens—is available to purchase. Artwork is a major draw; working with leading Copenhagen galleries and over 60 local artists, the team personally curates and hangs every piece, selling a work on average every third day so the art is constantly changing and guests encounter something new on each stay. This ever-evolving collection keeps the interiors feeling fresh and lets guests engage with pieces at the cutting edge of the Danish art scene, seeing how art interacts with furniture, colours, and light rather than against sterile white gallery walls. Monthly events further bridge hospitality and the art world, inviting a wider community into the guest house and allowing visitors to experience and potentially acquire works in a warm, lived-in setting." - Stephanie Gavan
