"Sisters Leslie and LeAnn Jones opened Inglewood’s first wine bar to keep residents from leaving the neighborhood. They believed locals needed a nearby spot to sample wines with appetizing bites, and their bet proved successful. The sisters also curated a fantastic wine list, as nearly 90 percent of 1010’s bottles served and sold are from Black-owned operators. There’s far more than just wine; Champagne and beer are also available, along with salads, black eyed pea fritters, a grilled Heritage pork chop, and half chicken with piri piri sauce.
