"The family-run 11 Hauz is inspired by partner Sheron Grant’s late grandmother Florence. Born and raised in Mount Salem, Jamaica, Florence passed down a love of Jamaican cuisine to her family, who keep her culinary traditions alive in Park City. All of the food is made to order, with the majority of proteins cooked bone-in to keep all the flavor and marrow. The rest of the menu features traditional island flavors and ingredients, with lots of Scotch bonnet peppers, homemade jerk seasoning, conch, and ackee and saltfish. The restaurant also turns out homemade roti, lovingly referred to as Jamaican mop, to soak up every last drop of sauce." - Sarah Entwistle

Amazing authentic and freshly prepared Jamaican food that is flavorful and filling. This was my first restaurant I took my family to in Park City Utah. Also I don't like a ton of spicy food, but this place meets the exception because of the authentic Jamaican Jerk flavor and seasoning that is felt in every single bite. The Shrimp Platter and Chicken Curry are the must try entrees. I had the Oxtail Dinner that was absolutely fall of the bone beef. I am so glad I found this black owned business that has excellent quality of food and excellent quality of service.

This time I did the same 2 days in row best jamaican food ever. I've never had anything was so tasty especially the oxtail. I'll be back soon enough. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best food even remotely close to Salt Lake City!! I'm super picky about my food and I love good flavors. This place blew me away. Totally in love with the food, and the people who so clearly pour their heart and soul into making the amazing food and their customers happy. Thank you so much for a wonderful stop on our journey, I wish I could come here every night!

The food was great. I am not a specialist on Jamaican food, but we really liked the food. Very unique and cooked very well! Bummed they were out of oxtail. The staff was incredible and they were so kind. Definitely try this place! A great experience!

Oh my g**, this place was THE BEST place we've eaten in a long time. Casual and fun. If you love Jamaican food, you are in luck. If you've never had Jamaican food but you like food with a flavor kick, then you just need to check out this place. The entire staff works well together and the waitress, Yanique, was so cool, friendly, and efficient. This is a Must-Visit destination.

I really wanted to like this place. It is not often we find a Jamaican restaurant in Utah. The place was clean and had a good vibe. It didn’t really scream Jamaica but what do I know. I have never been. Observation #1 - Expect Park City prices. We did not look at the menu before we went. We were a bit surprised. Observation #2 - They are not fast. We were not in huge hurry but on a timeline. They took a while. Fried Chicken - 2 stars. Tasted like they use the same chicken found in a grocery store deli. A wing, a thigh and a quarter breast. A dipping sauce that was nice but not much else. Was I wrong to expect some spices in the chicken? A cup of plain rice, thimble of coleslaw, and I left still being hungry. Chickpea Curry - 3 stars - good flavor but nothing to come back for. For the price we were expecting more. A bit of a bummer experience. I was hoping we found a place to stop on our way up the mountain. We will keep looking
