Second visit to this location since it opened (last one was pre-covid.) and have been to the location in Marlborough also. My experience has been that each visit gets worse. Though the decor would be nice if maintained, as the attached photos show, even though this is a relatively new location, this is not the case. The trash shown in the photos was there for the bulk of our 1.5 hour visit, and I watched countless times as wait staff, bussers and the hostess walked right through the area and ignored it. If this is how the front of the house runs, I hate to think about the kitchen. Also when sat, our table had those icky watermarks where a dirty rag would have been run over the table, and when I moved to adjust the table (we were put in a corner and I needed to pull it out), my hands encountered slime underneath the table. Ugh!
On plus side, the drinks we got were well made. The food was average or perhaps below - I ordered the ribeye and didn't even finish it. I have to say also the prices are far too expensive - I think an order of steak tips was $26, and I think my ribeye was $34, and frankly the steak was not great. Not awful either, but not anywhere near justifying the prices.
Last comment is about the service in general. My wife mad a reservation for herself and I, and she was told only slot was 5PM. We are not 'early bird' diners and took it only because they said they were booked. Upon arrival, we noted open tables inside and outside. We asked again and the hostess said no outside was available, and proceeded to sit us in a dark corner wedged between a family with an elderly diner whose walker blocked 2 of our 4 seats, and a table with a family and crying toddlers. The waitress seemed borderline hostile. We noted over the next hour and a half that the inside was barely 1/2 full, and the outside never filled up - in fact, only maybe 2 tables were seated when we left. The experience we had felt more like what I'd expect at a Denny's, not a quality restaurant.
