Nestled in the East Village, 11th Street Bar is the go-to Irish pub for Liverpool fans, where creamy Guinness flows, live music fills the air, and the crowd vibes like one big happy family.
"Sometimes you’re really just looking for an Irish pub where you can drink a couple of creamy, expertly pulled $9 Guinnesses. That's where 11th Street Bar comes in handy. They serve Guinness in vintage glasses, there's enough room for a group, and you might see some live music. If you get hungry, get a ham and cheese toastie that comes with a personal bottle of English mustard. But be aware that this is also the official home for the NYC Liverpool FC Supporters Club, so it can get pretty packed on match days. They also have live music Sunday-Thursday." - bryan kim, kenny yang, neha talreja, will hartman, sonal shah
"There are a lot of places in the East Village to drink a pint of Guinness, but 11th Street Bar’s is exceptionally creamy. If it’s not too busy, they’ll serve it to you in a vintage Guinness glass, which might have a toucan or a crocodile on it telling you “It’s a lovely time for a pint.” There’s Irish whiskey on tap, live music five nights a week, and thie place is large enough to accommodate big groups—including a significant portion of NYC’s Liverpool FC fans on match days. They have some bites, like a warm ham and cheese toastie with mustard, or a soft pretzel, for when the pints start to make their mark." - bryan kim, willa moore, will hartman, neha talreja, sonal shah
"Not only does 11th Street Bar pull some of the finest pints of Guinness in the East Village, they also have live music five nights a week, and a packed bar full of Reds singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” on Saturday mornings. Doubling as a Liverpool FC bar, this Irish pub has a long oaken bar, Irish whiskey on tap, and full, 20 oz pours of Guinness for $9, served in vintage glasses. For when the beer is going down a bit too easy, they also have soft pretzels and a $7 ham-and-cheese toastie that comes with a personal bottle of English mustard. This place has been around since 1997, and it’s still a good spot to gather with a large group over stouts—whether or not you support Liverpool. photo credit: Will Hartman" - Will Hartman
