13th Floor Haunted House Chicago

This was the first time Me experiencing the 13th floor haunted house. I went with my partner. I love haunted houses. And this is one of the best ones I’ve been to so far this year. My partner just join me he found it scary but it was so much fun for me. There was an adult only section, I think they make kids exit, because the second half has more people those things. The setup is really good and the characters play really good role. They cannot touch, but they do come pretty close to you. I’m glad there were no bad smells in the inside. If I get an opportunity, I’ll definitely go there again. There is street parking, but we might have to walk quite a bit go early before your reservation. There is paid parking as well, which is just next to the entrance. They have different options of the tickets and if you want to enter and one time was not enough, with that ticket you can re-enter. There is a long wait time and they do not start on time. If you take on your time in the evening, you still have to wait a little bit but later in the evening, it may be a longer wait . The characters outside the entrance I’m good, but I don’t like the fact that they are touching people.

Get the fast pass!! It’s only $12 more and saves you SO MUCH TIME. Even with the fast pass we waited in line for 30 mins, can’t imagine how long the wait was in the regular line. This was one of the most fun Halloween experiences I’ve had in years. It was scary but not as scary as I thought. You could tell the actors were having so much fun and really getting into it. The sets, costume and production were all top notch. They did such an incredible job!

From the moment we walked into 13th Floor Haunted House, we knew right away this wasn’t your average seasonal haunt. Just visited this haunted house today. I must say the decorations were nice, however the fear factor was not there at all. I may have jumped once. The line was long for absolutely no reason. I expected much more considering the cost and long wait. We purchased the fast past which wasn’t truly fast.

Was a lot of fun. The spacing of groups could be longer. We ended up being behind a group of 2 that was slow and they messed up a lot of scares for us bc monsters were resetting as we were walking by. There was a large group behind us that caught up with us due to the back up. If it was not for that they would have had a better review.

We are from outta town and it was our first time, so we went all out and bought the Platinum passes. Unfortunately, when we got there it didn’t go as planned when we bought the passes it came with no instructions and no one told us anything about them. We got it line they scanned us in, told them we had vip and nothing, made it inside to the line before the photo and had to ask serval staff members when they told us where to get our vip lanyard. When we got the lanyards they didn’t tell us anything about the drinks or wristband to access the secret bars inside. Once we made it through we asked some more staff members who got us in contact with the manger. The manager was absolutely incredible and got everything fixed for us and explained how it should have gone. She got us through all the extra stuff which the 3 mini escape rooms were really cool. (We beat them all!!!) The manager then brought us back around and we got our drinks, which the bar tender outside is awesome! Second go around was a lot more fun with a drink! More scares too.

My friends and I have used to love coming to 13th floor during any season. We love that it’s open during other seasons/holidays that isn’t just halloween. But, the last two times I visited, I have concluded that I will never come here again. The second to last time, I went with my sister and her friend. We have never had an issue with parking but this was the first time we had problems. One of the workers told us to park at this car wash place or further down in the plaza next to them. As, we parked and got out of the car there was a group of males who told us to not park there because there was someone who was purposely calling the tow truck on everyone who just parked in the plaza because they wanted money. We, of course, listened to them and ended up driving around the corner and found a tiny little sign that said event parking. We drove up to the people outside and they immediately greeted us by saying it was 25 dollars for parking but never said what it was for. We asked “Is this for the haunted house?” and they just stood there and looked at us. We asked again and they finally said yes, which made us unsure if we even wanted to go there because we didn’t know if they were correct or not. We ended up paying for parking and walking in, which upset me because as a haunt actor, our house doesn’t charge customers for parking. The tickets are expensive already and charging customers extra money for parking is ridiculous. The house was fine that night and everything else went smoothly. I returned again but with different people and this night was absolutely horrible. This took place on November 8th, 2025. There was no event parking that I had saw and I heard no one tell us to pay for parking anywhere. We parked at the plaza next door because the first other times i’ve parked there, there was no issues. Not including the time I went with my sister. We parked since we figured there was no issues, since no one was outside telling us where to go and there was no sign saying event parking. We go inside and had a great time because all the actors were interacting with us. As we go back to find the car, it’s gone. The car ended up being towed, so we go inside a restaurant to call the tow place to see if the car is there and it is. Someone came up to us and had told us, that the owners of each restaurant or someone outside will sit and call a tow truck on everyone who parks there. Which, we understand you don’t want people taking the parking spot of potential customers. But, what’s funny was we were planning to eat there after the house. While, we were in there we ran into a mom and daughter dealing with the same thing. We ended up having to uber to the tow place and paying for the car. We understand the consequences of our actions but you should have more signs, more information about parking online or actively have people outside telling people where to go. I think it’s a little messed up that people like my first experience will tell you where to park and you still have the chance of getting towed. That’s messed up and it’s giving that they want more money which is greedy. These experiences are just the main bad things we dealt with 13th floor. But, we have many stories about this place. The first time, my friends and I ever visited we weren’t even able to walk through since it had shut down. Contacting the company was very hard to do, calling and emailing them did nothing. They finally noticed us when we commented on one of their instagram posts asking for a refund… They need to have better structure for running a haunt. I am very disappointed with them and how they act. It sucks because they’re a great haunt but unfortunately due to their behavior we will go and take our funds somewhere. Learn from this lesson, it was a 300 dollar mess up.

Awesome haunted house! The set is amazing! The actors did great! I was screaming. Fast passes were where it's at! We didn't wait long at all to get in!

This is a really solid haunt. I've worked with haunts before, and been to MANY. This place does a great job or creating a creepy experience and the designers have done a truly beautiful job. I don't generally get scared in haunts anymore, but love the design work. This one got me three times. We had a great experience, and would definitely go again. Some less-than-ideal notes: - We got the line skips which were completely unnecessary at 7:00 on a Wednesday, but you never know. Just extra money spent for nothing. - The sticker add-on was a bit disappointing for a sticker so small and generic. - The two-experience concept is a little misleading. This is really sort of a point where the haunt design is a little disjointed. The transition from one 'experience' to another is just part of the same experience, just not a connected theme throughout. There's not a solid transition. That said, it was all beautiful.

I first shoutout the production team. I can only imagine what goes into putting these haunted houses together from makeup, displays, costumes, design. I can appreciate the way this was all set up and done. The only thing I did not like was having to pay for a time slot online. We booked for 8:15PM Saturday and stood in line for an hour that did not move. When I say it was packed!!!! The line was like a concert line and stretched along the building side. Someone did offer us the option to pay $20 to skip the line which was well worth it otherwise we would've been in line until at least 11pm. They had a bar in line with yummy coat friendly drinks. It was definitely a "one and done" experience but I think the setup was great and I did get scared a few times.

No...NOT worth the money!! Went on A Sunday and it really was pretty lame. Very few actors.. quite a bit of it you're just walking through with mechanical zombies,etc. It was a let down.. Also, parking is another $20 when you get there. Here's your warning!!

Bump bump crash. To getting belly bumped- to getting my phone stolen by a freaky ass monkey. Loud and rowdy only deep dish without the paddy could cure. A $13 treasure it was.

Great Halloween attraction with several themed rooms. The rooms were cleverly decorated with details and fun effects! Some areas are even a tiny bit interactive. Wear good shoes. There are unsteady surfaces and even a room with a significant incline. Awesome large animatronics!! Good use of them to really enhance the feel of each theme. I would highly recommend. The actors are super committed to their roles and this was way more fun than I originally anticipated. There is paid parking. They check bags. The line was about 30 min on a Sunday at 8:45pm. That's with a fast pass too. Refreshments, gifts and the option for escape rooms at the end of the haunted house.

Great starter haunted house! Great for kids! And those who don't like haunted houses this one is very tolerable. Minimal strobe lights. Friendly staff. Short wait at 6 on a Saturday. Line was 30/40 minutes, haunt was 30 minutes Parking: Hard to find! Get dropped off if possible! Or $20 valet on site or find street parking and walk there.

If I could give it a zero for scariness you would have gotten that rating. This is extremely short In length for paying over $30 a ticket. Let alone them being forced to pay $20 for parking. Secondly, the production staff need to be a little more discreet in their scare tactics. Being able to spot the people who are trying to stoke fear in you is the point here. So besides the cool photo and the T-shirt that's about all that was good at this please. Hear me out! Save your money, this place sucks! And the little manager at the end also sucks.

Worst suburban entertainment experience of my life. The House is fine, their lack of any signage telling you use their $20 valet parking OR ELSE BE TOWED was unbelievable. Thought my car had been stolen. Tow slip says 11 minutes after I left my car, it was towed. You realize, while standing there in shock in the parking lot, there are these 2 chain smokin idiots that wait for you to walk away, have every chance to alert you about the "policy"(?) and they call you in to the towing company. My $35 night turned into a$275 night AND...I supported the business in their strip by having dinner and drinks afterwards. Crying teenagers all over the place, it was a heart wrenching sight. Disgusting of 13th Floor to affiliate themselves with this policy AND not let their ticket buying customers know what will happen.

Was really enjoying the haunted house until halfway through an employee was walking behind us seeming to want to get around us, then when we finally let them through they kept waiting for us to catch up to them as if they were trying to hurry us through the haunted house. This immediately ruined all the fun since the employee was talking to all the actors and setting off all the motion sensor animatronics, so we already expected all the "jump scares". We also noticed the actors were no longer trying to scare us and were rather just standing there staring.

Highly anticipated our night out at this haunted house. Went with a group of six but we were disappointed. Props were good, decor was great but extremely UN-Scary. I've been to hundreds of haunted houses and this was honestly not scary....at all. The haunted house at Sonny Acres was more scary. I don't get it- why?? This places was rated 5th most scary haunted house? Maybe in past years- but not 2024.

I had so much fun at 13th floor! It was my second time here and I was still left scared and horrified (in a good way). I got the fast pass so I only had to wait around 5 mins in line. While you wait in line, the actors come outside to spook you out, which was fun. We entered into the house in groups of 4. The whole experience was insane! I won't reveal what all was inside but I wanted to commend the actors, the quality of the props and the layout of the house. They also stay up to date on the current trends and include sections accordingly. The owner even came to talk to us and asked our feedback at the end. Overall, a great experience and a must visit for the spooky season!

Only took 10 minutes. Long wait. Groups going through to big. Went with Group of 13 year olds very nervous and scared going in and left disappointed and underwhelmed unfortunately

Not very scary at all. Bad scare actors. The line took forever. Only a 30 minute experience with very few jump scares. Mid experience.

This is my first visit to a haunted house in Chicago, but I have to say it is my favorite haunted house that I have been to! In the past, I have found that haunted houses are not good with spacing out groups of people so you are often trailing right behind the group in front of you. Makes for a less scary experience when you can see what's coming. But, this haunted house is different. May have been because I came right at opening and I was in the fast pass lane. But I noticed that the staff had us wait quite some time between groups. We didn't run into the group in front of us until the very end. The actors did a great job with the jump scares. I was truly terrified. I was so scared that I didn't even pay attention to the themes of the different rooms. Was told that some of the themes included Last of Us and IT. Loved the rooms with the strobe lights and the tilted floors. There was a sprinkler issue right before we came so some of the floors were wet, which only added to the eery theme. I'm not sure how long we were in there but it was definitely longer than I thought it was going to be! For the price, I truly think this haunted house is worth it.

Not worth the money and not very scary. Just a walk through and they just scream and walk up to you. Line went by fast though. It was okay but could use improvements. While we were going up the incline and going down a girl in front fell and rolled her ankle. Should be careful walking up.

Phew! I have no voice. I have been to the 13th Floor a few times over the past couple years, but this year took the cake! The Church scene; by far the scariest. Would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a haunted house close to the city!

Great production and animatronics, but we lacked the scare factor. Not great, not bad. We were in the middle, so recommend being in the front or very end to enjoy it best. We got the fast pass tickets at Costco which made it cost friendly, otherwise, not sure it's worth the cost. The gift shop carries cute tshirt designs. also be aware that the parking is expensive, $20-$25 range for being there for less than hour!

Waste of time haunted house 1/2 of building of last year toke like 10 min to go thru at a slow pace actors sucked . Wasted my money then even $10 to park. Would not have scared a child more scary things on TV. Very dissapointing.

If there were negative stars I would give it. I was in there for a total of 10 minutes and I could not enjoy anything in the place. I FELT SO RUSHED. Would not recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money here! Go to another haunted house that last more than 10 minutes and is much more entertaining. Frustrated and never coming back here again

Came here with some friends on a Tuesday night. The website recommended people to go later in the evening to avoid a long wait time so we went at 9PM, but we still waited for 45 minutes. We had to pay $20 to park in the parking lot which was quite a lot just for a haunted house. I wish they had free parking, especially with the price of the general admissions fee. The weather was bearable for the first 15 minutes, then it started getting cold. At least there was a food truck for some warm beverages to keep warm. The staff inside were all friendly and had a great system for everyone to line up. Props to the girl who was yelling over the music and giving instructions to everyone. I would have lost my voice if I had to constantly shout. The haunted house had different scary themes inside that were super creative and cool to see. And yes, I did get scared a few times from the monsters popping out of nowhere. It took my group about 15 minutes to walk through the whole house. We were walking pretty fast, so maybe if you walked a little slower, it might take 20-25 minutes to finish. Overall, I like this haunted house. I've been to a few in the past and they were just mediocre.

We bought fast passes at Costco and decided to check it out. The haunted house had a long line, but the fast pass line moved quickly and actors interacted with everyone in line to make it fun. The haunted house itself was great and well done, but we caught up to the other groups very quickly and missed out on some of the jump scares.

Way better than HellsGate! I liked the animatronics here and overall thought the employees and actors were less exhausted and the mood was a bit more fun. And we didn't spend hours standing in lines. There were a lot more teenagers and young people here, so I think it's probably more accessible for them too. The actors interacted with them in a fun manner, no aggression or anything. It was just more fun overall. I got a spothero at the Loews hotel a block or so north.

My husband and I make it a yearly tradition to come to 13th floor. This year was very disappointing! Very few changes were made to the house since last year. Additionally, the actors did not do a good job with alternating what person in the group they scared. Since it was just a group of 2 of us, we had to join in with another group. Those individuals were in the front, so they experienced it all and we were left with wanting more. Only plus side is we purchased tickets during a pre-sale so they were only $13 a piece. Also, don't pay for parking. There is free street parking in the area!!! They will try to tell you you will get ticketed, but that is false.

A great haunted house. Good security and you pass through a metal detector for extra safety because you never know these days. I forgot I had my hiking knife in my bag so I left it up front and the security was really cool about it. I just went back for it afterwards. Wish I could've taken more pics but no photography allowed inside which makes sense. Very popular haunted house, the GA line was a 2 hr wait, but there are fast pass and skip line options for $10-$20 more. 1-5 scale: Scare factor: 4 Realistic: 4 Makeup art: 5 Sets: 5 If you really wanna get scared, distance yourself from The group in front of you so don't see any surprises coming, we were in front for awhile and I jumped every single time. Great creativity and detail in all the sets and costumes, I'm sure the actors were having a blast. Would definitely return. I'd say take your time to enjoy the scares, it can definitely feel like your rushed sometimes while you are running through the sets, but you gotta stop for second to enjoy the crazy details. Apparel Tip: wear sneakers and long pants, there are some steep ramps and slants in the floor throughout. Also lots of jumps and running from the spooks. Don't wear loose things. If you lose or drop anything, you probably won't find it.

Bought GA tickets last minute. The wait was pretty long. HOWEVER, this was an amazing experience and worth every penny! Krampus - The Fright Before Christmas was spectacular! Like gut wrenching fear screams! I love me some horror, and this one definitely was one for the books! Well done!

I had a blast here with my friends! I really enjoyed the waiting area prior to the line, most places don't have that; we had a friend running late and they had a drink stand there. The cocktail drinks were pre-made from Hala Kahiki Lounge! So it was perfect, we had a couple drinks while waiting for my friend. I was wearing my Akira jacket and we got to skip the long line, so much fun!

The website should be clear regarding their wit time. I don't understand what the point of buying tickets for a specific time since you have to wait in line regardless. That is, unless you purchase the fast pass. It feels as though the establishment forces people to purchase the fast pass by creating a long wait time for general admission. I showed up at 9 pm (for the tickets that I purchased inline) and was told the wait would be 2 hours after we passed security. Not worth it in my opinion. A price grab.

Thrilling experience - if you get startled easily (like me), make sure to travel with a group because the experience could be pretty scary and exciting at the same time. Also, arrive early to avoid long lines because this place gets packed quickly particularly on weekends. They are plenty of street parking if you don't want to pay for pricey valet parking.

I really like the props and realism of the entire haunted house attraction. I also thought the length of the haunted house was good! It was not super scary to me, but my mom kept jumping at everything. It was definitely a fun time. I wish the characters could touch you or follow you more, I think it would make the experience even better. The parking situation is decent. You can pay $10 for valet or $20 to self park. There was no line when I went, so I cannot say how fast or slow it moves. I would go back in the future again. I like that they take a photo in the beginning if you want, this added to the experiences. Everyone was wearing their masks correctly, which is hard to find these days with businesses. Only took off one star because I did not find it too scary. Would be good for teenagers I think.

I love going to haunted houses during spooky season but this was beyond disappointing. I recently went to Disturbia and I wish I went there twice instead of wasting my money on 13th floor. The parking situation was messed up, they have all these extra lots that they charge you for and they lie saying that the street parking will get you a ticket. Waiting in line for the actual haunted house was so boring, they had two actors waddling around just groaning, no type of effort whatsoever. Once it was our turn, we asked if we could go by ourselves and they said no, that we had to go in a group of six. The whole thing lasted about 10 to 15 minutes, didn't have enough actors and people were constantly rushing us. This was so trash. Please take your money and go to Disturbia.

Really fun and great sets! Very immersive experience. The actors were interactive and the sets were much better than I expected; like walking in several different horror movies! There are areas that will confuse your senses in a fun and distorted way-the swamp part is so cool! It was around 20min to go through which is ideal for me. Protip: go early and park a block or 2 away to save $25. We got there at 730pm and had a 15min wait

The wait was longer than expected. If your looking to check in and walk in, that's not going to happen. Get a fast pass and thank me later. Other then that, I had a good time.

Who ever said this place isn't scary lied!!!!!!!! This place is pretty cool if you are looking for a real haunted house! I was pretty impressed with how scary and realistic this place was. Who ever is in charge of creating the scare does a wonderful job! The costumes and actors are amazing. *Semi Spoiler * I honestly don't know how I feel about the scary people that are outside prior to the haunted house because I feel like it kind of takes away from what's to come. I mean I sweated my hair out before I got inside the haunted house! I can honestly say this is a real, legit haunted house. Location: The location of the haunted house *seems* kind of sketchy at night. I'm not saying it's a bad area, because I'm not from there so I don't know. Just saying it's not very well lit and you shouldn't be alone walking around. Also, if you are looking from your car you may have a hard time finding the place because it's not marked outside. The only way you notice is you see people outside. It's protected by a fence, the place is sort of hidden behind it. Parking: I don't think people should have to pay for parking, the price is already pretty hefty. Parking is only $5 but still a lot of people drive a pretty far distance and pay a hefty price to come here, it would be nice if parking was free. Fun/Scare: I would defintely return here with a group. This isn't a place you come alone. It's scary af! I think it would be a lot more fun if you come with lots of friends and family. It's defintely fun and scary! It was overall a cool experience.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned 13th Floor's Krampus Haunted Christmas special event yet. I had purchased tickets to the special two-day event last year, but was unfortunately unable to attend at the last minute, so I was SUPER stoked after winning two fast past tickets through Yelp to this year's "Krampus: Jack Frost" haunted house. I quickly invited two friends and BEGGED them to pay the outrageous price of $87 (with tax) for two fast pass tickets so they could stand in line and go through the house with my boyfriend and me - I wish I hadn't. Upon entering the haunted house on the Friday of the event around 9pm, there were ZERO lines. I felt like a total jerk for forcing them to purchase overly priced tickets - save the $$ if you plan on attending the two-day event next year, and stick with the GA. Parking is relatively easy, as there are lots across from 13th Floor, one of which requires $5 (had I known there was another free lot next door, I would have parked there and walked the extra twenty steps). The line was quick and painless (like I said, zero line. There may have been MAYBE six other people there when we went), and the pot-a-potties were directly next to the line (but who wants to pee outside in 20° weather?). Once we entered the building, we were greeted by Jack Frost himself as well as a few other characters. Makeup was spot on and I loved the interaction. The Christmas themed setup was enchantingly haunting and the actual haunted house, overall, was pretty cool. I appreciated the even mix of Halloween and Christmas appeal. However, I do feel that there were a few missed opportunities for scares, and I was a bit confused by the rooms that were non-Krampus related. I feel like they really missed an amazing opportunity to fully take on the Krampus theme. Like can we get a full haunted forest where the creepy Christmas trees are hiding in plain sight? We definitely spent more time driving to 13th floor than we did going through the actual house. All in all, we spent about 20 minutes here. Overall, I'll totally visit again next year, but I will NOT pay the fast pass fees or request any of my friends to do so either.

The haunted house was great. They couldn't figure out how to print the photos... so we couldn't purchase them. We went inside the Escape room but it was not functioning correctly so we couldn't get all the clues to unlock the lock. The young lady came inside and could not get it working correctly. Bummer!!! The clown lady that was outside was really cool!!! There was no food truck there. We were told that they decided not to come because they had an event to attend to!!! Basically.... only the haunted house was good!!!

Wow, I have never felt so robbed in my life. We booked the City of the Dead: Drive In Haunted House last year, one car, two adults, and a child and spent $85 for nothing. Middle of a pandemic and wanted to do something fun for Halloween... but he ads and reviews sounded good but in reality, you parked in a makeshift drive in movie theatre and watched really terrible "spooky" movies while people dressed up walked around between the cars. Not scary, not fun, and a complete waste of money and gas driving clear across town. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money!

Bought codes online when first went on sale. 3 codes to be exact did the same at Fear Farm ...had no problem with my Fear Farm codes but can't get the 13th Floor codes to redeem. Been trying for almost 2 weeks. I've Emailed to 13 th floor with the issue and requested assistance or other options, they basically told me too bad. Don't recommend, apparently once they have their money it d I sent matter.

Haunting is an art form. Talk to a haunt actor about their character, and they may very well tell you their characters origin and background. Even if they they only speak in guttural sounds, they have a history, and it's that history that puts the character in reality. So when I entered the line for 13th floor this past weekend, I was pleased with the line actors. I love the interaction and the improv riffing that the line actors bring. It's a talent and a gift. The cast: A gentleman specter with an accent who, while not scary per se, worked the crowd well. A clown with cymbals who spoke only in screeches who I had a 5 minute screeching conversation with (yes we understood each other, and we may now be best friends), and a bunny man who who made the rounds interacting with almost everyone. You could see that they believed in, and truly embodied their characters. Then I entered the haunt itself.... The themes this year were Outcast Carnival and All Hallows Eve. To say they missed the mark is an unfortunate understatement. Try as I might, I saw no outcast carnival. Nor was there any trace of the evil trick or treating sprites from the site description. From the beginning, we were immediately greeted with jump scare after jump scare. Characters would jump out, yell "Rah" and reset back into place for the next group. We went through multiple scenes that were the typical run of the mill haunt tropes, a medical area, a swamp (which could've been so much better if the laser/fog swamp effect worked successfully), a tavern of some sort, etc. but none of these areas appeared to add up to any theme, and certainly not the two themes listed on their site. At one point, you come across a giant Pennywise statue holding Georgie from the movie. This certainly falls into the nonsense field as there is no other reference for the film and the is definitely no reason for it other than the owners saying "Hey, look at my big a$$ Pennywise statue". The Wolfman also makes an appearance in another scene that, though apt for the character, has no purpose or relationship with what the haunt theme is supposed to be. Unless they changed the theme last minute to "Horror Potpourri" The actors were in short supply at the haunt, leaving the guest to walk through many empty areas that had so much potential. At one point, we walked past several closed caskets up against a wall. Not a single thing happened. They could've easily placed a jump scare, or better yet, had a character coax the guests into, and ultimately through, one of the caskets as a way to enter the next room. A lot of the animatronics fell flat as well. Either you could plainly see the mechanism behind the effect, or it was of b-movie quality and felt out of place with the otherwise realistic surroundings. Another issue was crowd control. My group caught up with the group in front of us within five minutes. Midway through the haunt, I looked back and saw at least 20 people behind my group. This wasn't a individual experience. This was an assembly line. There were no fleshed out characters. There was no improv. There was no story to follow. This was a true missed opportunity. 13th Floor reminded me of the haunted houses from back in the day. Anyone remember Amling's Haunted House from back in the day? Back then, there was nothing like it. It made no sense, and there was no story, but it was dark, and people jumped out, and kids loved it. The problem is that this isn't "back in the day", the patrons aren't 8 year olds, and people jumping out yelling "Rah!" simply doesn't cut it anymore. Rah.

Worst experience I've had at a haunted house. Below is an email to the info team (info@13thfloorhauntedhouse.com please use to log your complaints). Many people had the same issue I did on 10/8/22 and until they make right the false advertising and give me a refund, this post will remain up. And I will STRONGLY dissuade anyone from going here. "I had a disappointing experience at the haunted house. I paid for five upgrades to my tickets for the skip the line option. I arrived around 9:30pm and I went to the entrance to inquire where my group needed to go citing our admission with line skip upgrade as, and the employee I spoke with was rude and ill tempered. When I inquired about where we needed to go, she directed us to the very back of the line outside the chain link fence that stretched down to the next block. When I informed her of our ticket upgrades she told me that didn't matter and to go to the back of the line. I was confused since I paid for the upgrade, and tried to get more clarification she then asked me for my time stamp. It was clear she was getting upset. I told her I don't have a time stamp and showed her it's a skip the line pass upgrade. While this situation was occurring I saw several people with general admission tickets come up to her with the 9:30 time slots and she let them right inside the fence. As I tried to speak with her more I mentioned the rest of my party were walking distance waiting for my signal on where to go. And her response was, "Everyone is within walking distance," very sarcastically. I was not rude to her at all and it was not warranted to speak to me like that. It doesn't seem right that I paid extra for perks and upgrades to the haunted house when a general admission ticket with a time slot could bypass the extremely long line. I've been to the 13th Floor in the past and this was by far the worst experience I have had. I am requesting a refund for my purchase. Thank you for your time and attention." I will update if they give an apology and a refund.

Boring, very few scare actors, overly lit sets, non functioning animatronics, over priced 20$ parking. I left knowing I wasted my money. Save your money and go to Dungeon of doom and hell's gate.

Wow I had so much fun. I loved all the detail work it has on all the decorations. It looks very real and is it certainly scary. I was so surprised to see that the 13th Floor Haunted House was so organized no pushing and there was no running. I felt I was in a film set. I was very content to see how much details were into every scene. I was screaming in fright so much for a minute I thought I was going to get a heart attack. I really recommend for young and dates to come and have tons of fun. They also have $5.00 parking right across the street.

Wow this haunted house was amazing! No it's not on the 13th floor (but cool name) but it was super long and scary. Every time I kept thinking I was at the end there was another section. This might've been the best haunted house i've been to. It seemed like a lot of money went into the setup and I was highly impressed! WOW!

I think I died like 6 times tonight!!! This place is crazy and I highly recommend it if you love a good scare! The actors are scary AF, the makeup and costumes are on point, along with the props and the technology that was in used in a couple of the different rooms. I went with a group of 5 people and thank goodness that I was in the middle! The actors will come right when you least expect it and scare the crap out of you whether it is out of a hole in the wall, a forgotten corner of the room, or somewhere from down below. It seemed like this haunted house was never ending! It took us a good 30 minutes to get all the way to the end. My favorite room was this room that seemed to be tilting and made you dizzy like you were about to fall into the pit with the monsters! All an optical illusion but insanely genius at the same time. My only complaint was that the rooms can get really hot. I don't know if it was me and all that adrenaline rushing through my body, but I was soaked in sweat by the time I got to the exit. It might be all part of the plan if you ask me. If that was the case, it worked. Hope I won't get nightmares tonight!

Was here today with my 9 year old daughter and 11 year old niece. Pretty cool haunted house with just enough scare factor. If you're looking for scared straight this isn't it. If you're cool with a few unexpected jump scares you will enjoy it. Props and effects were amazing. Characters were very realistic. The jump scares were a 10. Wait time was not long at all, but we purchased the fast pass tickets, which were like $55 per person but worth it because the general admission line was very long. The fast pass tickets are an additional $20 on top of the general admission cost and like I said so worth it. We walked right into the haunted house. For some reason I thought the haunted house was going to be like 10 minutes from what I was reading, but it was much longer than 10 minutes it was more like 20-25 minutes easily and also depend on how slow the people in front of you walk. You exit to their gift shop and also where you view/purchase the picture you take in the beginning, but tonight the machine was backed up so they told us to view them online later or tomorrow, which was kinda a bummer because I was looking forward to buying the photo as a souvenir. Parking was available on the next block where all the factories are located so save that $20 and just park on the side street. I probably will come back just because it's also a kid friendly haunted house and they really enjoyed it.

Okay let me start by saying I am not a haunted house professional. I don't go to many of them, in fact I had to be talked into going here. With that being said, I had a BLAST and it was a great time. Basics first...this is located right of North Avenue. There are a couple shopping centers to park in nearby or a private lot for $5. We paid the $5, wby risk the tow right? There are a washrooms locates outside and then you move through security. This place does get crowded (because it rocks) so you may want to get a fast pass and bypass lines. I won't really give up what is inside, come on you still need a few surprises, but I was scared. These actors do a GREAT job and really startled me a few times. Okay who am I kidding, I was scared. The haunted house is split into two separate rooms / themes so you get a little of everything!! Everything about this was fun. The staff was very friendly and made sure to do everything within their power to ensure a good time. I would absolutely come back here next year.
