Excellent service — the waiters are knowledgeable about the dishes and drinks, professionally present each course while explaining it, friendly and attentive to detail.
The atmosphere and interior design of the restaurant are pleasant, with interesting design solutions and combinations of materials in the dining hall.
The music was sometimes too loud, and guests had to raise their voices to hear each other.
A note regarding the menu — the information that 10% will be charged for service should be printed more prominently. Considering the dim lighting and the type of paper the menu is printed on, this information is almost invisible.
Appetizers
Soufflé pancake — we expected a light, cloud-like texture with a delicate flavor and refined sauce; in reality, it was a standard pancake with fish.
Bone marrow — overcooked, with no trace left of its delicate texture. In addition, the subtle flavor was completely overwhelmed by an overly dominant sauce and coarsely chopped onion.
Sourdough flatbread — perfectly prepared kebab, the meat tasted excellent.
Shiitake mushrooms — the sauce was too aggressive, making it impossible to taste the mushrooms.
Main courses
Duck — a nicely cooked piece of duck fillet, but with no sauce at all. The side dish, an apple baked on a skewer, was neither caramelized nor interesting — just an apple. Another side was a sausage full of gristle that was impossible to chew, and you had to sit at the table pulling those pieces out of your mouth.
Ravioli with tongue and liver — bitterness was the defining taste of this dish, a bitterness you hoped to neutralize with wine just to get rid of it.
Compliments from the chef — delicious layered bread with butter at the beginning and a tasty soufflé at the end of the evening.
Expectations and reality did not match, and unfortunately the disappointment with the flavors of the dishes prevailed after the dinner.
