"Three chefs from Ellen Yin and Eli Kulp’s High Street Hospitality Group (Fork, High Street on Market, A.Kitchen, A.Bar) are striking out on their own for Cadence, a BYOB on Girard Avenue where Fishtown, Northern Liberties, and South Kensington meet. The restaurant, which has an open kitchen and a chef’s counter, will serve new American fare available al la carte or as a prix fixe meal, along with some intriguing-sounding nonalcoholic cocktails made with local vinegars." - Rachel Vigoda

Yelp
Food, drinks, and service are amazing! I was greeted right as I walked in. The restaurant is cozy and modern, every detail from the plates, to the stems on the wine glasses, to the art is perfect. I had the tasting menu... And also tried each cocktail. Lol. Every single thing I ate was DELICIOUS! My favorites were the wagyu rye targets, and then I was pleasantly surprised that the coal roasted beets (vegetarian dish) was my second favorite. The desserts are unique and flavorful! The drinks were so crafty! My number one is Lil red dress and my partner loves Mary's Lamb.

Yelp
Marissa and the team were amazing. Tried the tasting menu. First course was kinda heavy. By entree on 3rd course we were really full. However everything was great Wife loved the butternut squash ice cream Complimentary stilled water is a plus

Yelp
Last night, my friend, and I sat at the bar and had a fantastic meal. For cocktails, he started with the Lil Red Dress and I had the Melanzana. For the next round I had Mary's Lamb and he drank the Night Moose. The cocktails are very intriguing and different, but do not shy away from them!! Petra was our bartender/server and she was welcoming and knowledgeable, with the perfect amount of attentiveness. For dinner, we opted for the tasting menu, which was a fantastic way to try many of the dishes and $95 per person was a reasonable price point for us. I'm thrilled they have opened and will absolutely be back for more.

Yelp
Awesome meal--95 for a tasting menu is perfect pricing and everything was great. Really interesting cocktails. Loved the rockfish and the lamb at the end and the dessert was fantastic. I hope they keep switching the menu up so I can go back

Yelp
A nice place to order shared plates. we particularly liked the Tuna. however this place is very sneaky with their prices. There is an extra fee to help pay the kitchen. However this is not factored into the menu prices so everything is significantly more expensive than listed. The tasting menu is almost $100 after this fee is added. This cost needs to be factored into menu pricing

Yelp
Absolutely delicious meal. The ambiance was cozy and romantic but also fun and young. Service was amazing and all members of the staff were informative, attentive, and beyond polite. Highly recommend! The Tuna, duck, lamb loin, and the beets were our stand out choices.
