Gorgeous Sushi Bentos Are Helping a Popular Downtown LA Music Venue Stay Afloat - Eater LA

"Umi Sushi operates from the kitchen of 1720, an all-ages venue in Downtown LA, and offers takeout sushi with a unique retro theme. The venue, owned by musicians Alex Alereza, Brett Powell, and Travis Richter, was repurposed during the pandemic to provide income and employment to their staff. Collaborating with chef Don Tahara, Umi Sushi serves as a ghost kitchen and plans to remain part of 1720’s offerings post-pandemic." - Farley Elliott

Google
Great spot. The music system rocks! The neighborhood, not so much. No parking except for the street. Try to park as close to the venue as possible. Don't walk these streets alone. This club has a great atmosphere and I very much enjoyed the show. The power went out mid performance but it was back up quickly. I saw Nekrogoblikon and they rocked here. The venue is the perfect size for a more intimate experience. I will come back for sure.

Google
It's a swanky bar everything is updated and really nice inside. The outside location is on the sketchier side, but if you don't wander around, you'll be okay. I'd recommend calling your Uber while inside and waiting. Awesome vibe here!

Google
great sound, good bathrooms, good venue, alright location... there is a metro station near which is a plus. though, most shows end at night so you’ll most likely have to get a ride to avoid nighttime dangers. your experience might change based on who and what you’re going here for. when i went for camping in alaska, everything was smooth and flawless.

Google
Great venue… warehouse retro rave vibes… saw a couple of dark wave bands here.. great bartenders…always had a blast here 🔥🧛‍♂️🔥

Google
The space was big enough for a decent size pit/circle and the sound was LOUD and well mixed. The lights were also pretty great filling the warehouse space with intense colors. The pit was a bit rough, but never concerning -- security intervened once. Also, it's in the warehouse district. They didn't have water out, so you'll have to ask a bartender -- there are two bars one on the floor and one around a corner near the merch. One oddity, bands kept asking for monitor updates -- so while it sounded good on the floor, it seems like that wasn't consistently the case for the stage. Overall a good venue, had a great time. 🤘✌️

Google
Worst venue I’ve ever been too. They upcharge on drinks and make up prices I got two redbull vodkas the first time was $16 the second time was $25… I got two shots for $32 the second time it was $54… Extremely hot absolutely no air flow. Definitely would not recommend.

Google
Great venue. Many bands playing live

Google
The venue itself was great. Love the setup with the stage, the bar, and the space to stand. I do have to say, though, the audio was terrible the entire time. For the first band, the guitar was completely inaudible. The second band sounded okay, though the vocals were too loud. The headliner, all over the place. It's like they turned the guitars and vocals to 12, then forgot about everything else. At some point, the band played a softer track with just guitar and flute, and they had the guitar so loud, you couldn't hear the flute at all. Bad live audio mixing dampened an otherwise stellar performance, which is disappointing. It was so loud, I kept shoving my earplugs in more, and even still walked away partially deaf. They had a cool LED display thing, though.

Yelp
Ray the head of security walked me to my car!!! Ray saves the day!! I was a little sketched out by the area - im not normally sketched out by encampments, but I did wonder about parking, as my car has been broken into even in my own neighborhood of many years Anyway, I found a spot on a VERY brightlyencampment, right around the corner, so that was good, and on the way out, Ray was just an incredible gentleman and walked me to my car. Such a dude. Give this man a raise!!! Above and beyond service!!

Sophia Q.

Yelp
Love this venue, the head of security Ray is very personable & always makes sure your evening starts off right, they have a great team there. I've seen a few cool artists here, including some that play instruments live as they mix. Definitely a unique spot worth checking out!

Yelp
|[ s u c c i n c t ]| 3.5 stars rounded up because the venue itself is super small but decent and clean! We came for a smaller event (Anime Massive - we came for Hyper Potions), so there was plenty dancing space and you can see everything and everyone in the entire space lol. Bathroom wall graffiti is p cool, good photo op. Sounds and visuals were fun for dancing and although the crowd was small, it was a great vibe. |[ o v e r a l l ]| No food, bar at back. No issues with security. My only reservations are that this is in skid row and in between underpasses lol. Ngl I was p frightened and never knew this place existed, but on this Friday night and prob due to being a low key event, it was peaceful. I'd be open to coming here but only if I really wanna see the artist.

Yelp
Came here to see Satin Jackets and I must say I do like the venue. It's very intimate, not very crowded and the sound is good! It has a big outdoor smoking area so if you wanted fresh air you can get some even if there's a bunch of smokers outside. It does have a long list of cons though: 1. The neighborhood is completely shit, sketchy AF all around it. Its in the grimy warehouse district, there's tons of RV's and burned out RV's on the streets leading to the venue. I would not recommend driving and parking your car in this area. 2. The drinks are very expensive and they're small roughly $18-20 for like a makers and coke and you're getting a very tiny cup (it's a stiff drink but theres like no chaser also theres not much liquid so you'll go through these quickly, you cant slowly sip on it cause its tiny. 3. $7 dollar bottles of crystal geyser water (lol wtf? at least have something slightly fancier if you're gonna charge $7 4. The mens bathroom has like zero privacy, there's even a toilet thats right out in the open with 3 other urinals LOL 5. Cashless BAR...... but they do have an ATM in the lobby LOL

Yelp
I believe I have been here twice now? Fairly small venue. There is a side area where you can sit which is nice otherwise is just standing. Line moves quick. View is alright, can usually get an alright view. Sound is LOUD, the whole building shakes and you can feel it even outside- I definitely put in ear plugs when I'm here. Area is a little sketchy and no where to really park your car so I would get dropped off (via friend/family or rideshare). Generally many people do that so it's not unsafe before and after the show.

Yelp
Had to stop in here to give kudos to Junior who was working the night of the Wind Rose show. My and some guys had to drive in from Vegas since they had to cancel their show there (thanks house of blues ). We weren't vip or anything but Junior played host for us after the show for no real reason and made the visit a blast, hung out, and made sure we were having a good time. Y'all have some great staff.
google avatar

Julie J.

Yelp
As others have mentioned the location is horrible. Would not recommend driving and parking there. We waited in the bar to the right of the stage and there's a blackout curtain dividing the space. We pulled it back to watch the band and staff rudely came over and closed it. Why? No reason given. No in and outs so you can't check on your car or leave merch. Too many other great LA venues to recommend
google avatar

Brandon K.

Yelp
Security guard clearing the floor (11/3) was very dense and impatient. He separated me from my friends, and tried to herd me out. They were next to the stage exchanging numbers with some guy and taking forever. I told him to go grab friends and kick them out too, because I wanted to leave! He refused to turn around and kick my friends out after the show. So clearly he did a shitty job of clearing the floor. Do better 1720. Also this venue is located on a street of filled with trash. Maybe the security guy could make himself useful and clean up the area a little.

Yelp
What a fun night! Great performance! We came to watch Junoflo, Justin Park, and G2. *Junoflo was the best! I like his style and performance so much, very distinct and unique, great music. He had none stop rapping and interacting with the audience for maybe 40 mins straight, really passing his energy and smile to everyone. He was also the first Korean rapper to perform in NBA halftime. Awww! *G2's signature raspy voice is so cool! Pass his freestyle spirit to every corner of the room. It was so pumping. *Justin sang his signature song "All along" and got the whole dancing routine going on! The bar offer drinks and snacks. It has many tables , very convenient for people who want to chill while enjoying the show. Cons: The show supposed to start at 7 pm but it got delayed to 8 pm. I heard was the sounds system needs to be checked and when Justin perform the sound went wrong again sadly. So couldn't hear him as clear as another singers. I would appreciate it if the studio could get everything on the line before the show starting.

Yelp
This is an independent venue that is not owned by Live Nation, very refreshing to see. They host lots of touring acts, some local ones, and dance parties. The sound system and lights are top-notch. Bathrooms are nicer than you'd expect. They have a decently sized outdoor patio and a kitchen. They have two full-bars, normal prices that you would expect at a music venue. They will serve you free water if you ask them politely, which is awesome. Like everyone says, the parking situation is rough. But it's walking distance from a metro station, so I'd leave your car at home and take the train/Uber.

Yelp
First time to the venue. My cousin plays in a band He Films the Ckouds. Check them out. So he invited me to his show, I've been to numerous venues out in LA but never this one and from what he told me it's a newer venue and it changed since the first time he's played there. I was surprised , considering where it's located and prevalent homelessness around there. Which doesn't bother me , I'm use it and expect it when I go out towards the la area. But regardless it's more of what's inside the venue. While there was a good turnout the venue for the most part had a lot of space which was great. You can walk around and talk to people or watch the bands play. I don't drink anymore but they had a bar there with of course usual prices what you expect. They have another bar on the side section where I'm guessing you can hang out there and they set up merchandise booths. Some merch booths were there but it was mostly empty and the bar of course was closed . Either way the venue is a good size and yeah while it wasn't a big even I enjoyed the experience and would check it out again if they happen to play there or a band I like plays. Not sure how long this place has been here but I'll keep my eyes open for anyone I want to see perform here. Hopefully it'll be just as nice of an experience as my first.

Yelp
I am in a wheelchair, and everyone that worked here was so sweet too me. I was struggling with the crowd bumping into me making it very difficult for me to be comfortable, but security and staff made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Thank You Junior, for giving me access and clearing crowds so i can get through and always checking up on me. Thank you so much 1720.

Yelp
Normally I don't feel safe parking in downtown and walking around the venue, but Ray(the head of security) made my experience so positive. He noticed I had parked further away and told me a closer spot to park at. At the end of the night, Ray walked me to my car and ensured I got there safely with no issues. I will never forget this experience , because Ray went out of his way to make sure I was safe. This venue is very lucky to have someone so positive working there!

Yelp
As I arrived pretty late there was no parking nearby but that's fine, I parked in a great garage that was about a 15 minute walk away. While there was nothing particularly dangerous that I encountered, I was still glad I had my SO with me. The area was pretty deserted as far as I could tell. Fair number of "nice" cars parked along the street who were show attendees. If I was able to I would have parked along the street by the venue- seemed there was enough people milling about to feel safe about that. Just use common sense and you should be alright. Friendly staff checked IDs, moved the (short) line quickly. Upon entering, we headed straight to the stage. Great views and easy crowd to navigate. Beware of groupie/posse crowds hanging out on the right side of the stage (when facing the stage) by the walk up ramp, which can block your view if you're standing at the far right edge close to the front or if you are on that side in the bar area. You won't be able to see a single thing except a bunch of legs milling about. However crowd was easy to maneuver and find a great spot. It was pretty packed but still room to move about. Show was in February and coat check was available. Sound quality was incredible, great balance and volume, but beware it does get VERY loud. My hearing was definitely feeling it 5 mins into the set. Be ready to ringing in your ears after the show :) But no sharp twangs or inaudible lows. Warehouse vibe is neat and feels underground, genuine experience. Location seems to be very wheelchair friendly, saw a music fan get the opportunity of a lifetime to physically be up on stage for a great time. Would come back again, and would drive here again!

Yelp
Ray your the best head of security and well deserved get this man a raise because he is one of a kind

Yelp
I saw Delain and Visions of Atlantis here, my third time seeing the former. I have zero complaints about the performances or the staff. However, the reason I'm only leaving 3 stars is because of two things: unsafe neighborhood and lack of visibility. There are no signs advertising the venue (or if there are, they've been heavily vandalized), which means you can drive right past it and not even know. The venue is also located in an extremely sketchy part of town (piles of trash bags, hella graffiti, and downed wires as far as the eye can see). I had to park on the street near the venue, and while nothing bad happened to my car, I was worried the whole time that something would. There are definitely safer places to catch a concert.

Yelp
This place is one of the best clubs in the area, for good vibes and great music. The security guard Ray also does a great job at making it safe and secure.

Yelp
We have an absolutely incredible night here, and highly recommend this venue. Whether local or visiting, everything from the environment, bar, and stage was fantastic. Ray, their head of security took care of our group (ADA) and made sure our experience was rememberable. If you're in town you have to visit 1720.

Yelp
Location is grimy - skid row, watch out. Building is great, wood, steel and concrete. Outdoor smoker area with art wall - food stand offered, bar staff also very friendly! Great venue, will be back. 4 stars because of location.

Yelp
Hello everyone. I want to share an incident involving Mike, the bartender, who harassed both me and the five other women I was with. Mike displayed an excessive temper resembling that of a two-year-old. Thankfully, I was sober during this experience, allowing me to recall everything clearly. I initially ordered one drink but was mistakenly charged for two beers. When I politely asked Mike to rectify the error by removing one beer from the bill, he immediately became hostile and argued that I had ordered two. Eventually, he took my card to correct the charge but continued to berate me for my alleged mistake. Moments after I walked away, he gave me and my group of girlfriends the finger. He then approached me again, demanding to charge me for the one drink. I questioned the need for this and requested proof. When he showed me his screen, indicating that both drinks had been refunded but one needed to be charged, I offered to pay him in cash for the one drink and advised him to manage his temper. This triggered another outburst from him, and he told me, "No, you need to f**** know what to order next time." I decided to walk away because I didn't deserve to be yelled at by a grown man. However, he followed me to my group of friends and forcibly grabbed a beer from one of them, throwing it against the wall. This left us, as a group of women, in a state of fear, as it seemed like he might resort to physical aggression. In response to our concerns, we left, and security guard Ray helped us. Thank you Ray for being so sweet and accommodating. I advise anyone that comes here to avoid Mike the bartender

Yelp
Shoutout to RAY the head of security! He was very nice and helped me and my friends out. The friendliest experience ive had with security at any venue. Youre the man Ray!
google avatar

Yelp
The place itself is fine. I have been to two events here - DJ dark wave night and a metal show. Both were fantastic but man the location is the actual armpit of L.A....this is THEE scary skid row that even the cops don't come around to. Somehow (thankfully) me & friends didn't get our cars broken into. But if you dare park around there you might be stepping over people or human or both! Do what other reviewers mention- park elsewhere and Lyft in.

Rori R.

Yelp
Staff and venue were amazing, truly. Shoutout to Ray for being the absolute best. He walked me to my car to ensure I got there safely.

Yelp
Recently went to 1720 for my first time and this is how it went. There's a lot of mixed reviews about parking your car in the area, However for me and my girlfriend we felt more worry free parking at a overnight parking garage in little Tokyo. After that we just ubered to and from the venue, which is about 12 mins away. I also highly recommend the app SpotHero, it helps you look for parking and filter out options such as parking lot or garage, and etc. you can even book your parking time on the app and pay in advanced and get a QR code as a ticket that activates when you come/go. PROS It's a chill spot, definitely sets the mood right with the ambiance of the place when you walk in. Stage is pretty close from a lot of angles of the building so you can actually see artists performing pretty well. saw a lot of people hitting their vapes inside the venue so either there's no rule against it or they just don't gaf. There's 2 bars on each end of the venue if your into that. They have a merch stand for the artists who perform to sell their music or clothing. CON Like most of the other reviews, sketch a$$ area. Definitely don't want to get there too early because you will literally be standing outside in the middle skid row, since they don't open there doors until the hour the event is supposed to start at. (even tho on Google it says they open at 10am). If it's a small band I recommend pulling up at least 45 mins early so you can atleast be waiting with people.

Kat ..

Yelp
Came to see wavedash last night and had an unexpected medical emergency. The staff on hand were all incredibly kind and helped me greatly. Special shout-out to Ray (head of security) and Cass (?) (the very pretty girl working the merch counter) for taking care of me and making sure I was okay! As for the venue itself - The music was insanely loud from all corners of the building (a perk to me, personally) and despite being crowded, there was always enough space to move around. Honestly I had a great experience before collapsing! Was so glad I got to see such a great show :)
google avatar

Bruce K.

Yelp
Good venue and Ray (head of security) is the best. He welcomed everyone with such a great vibe and went over and above to help with a situation that came up in the most professional and courteous manner possible. 10/10 for Ray - they are lucky to have such a great human keeping everything good over there

Yelp
Consider getting an Uber !!! Your car will be stolen or broken into! My car was just stolen over the weekend

Yelp
Love coming here for various shows. Parking is a bit sketchy because there's a bunch of homeless encampments around but that's LA for you. The restrooms inside are clean and there are two bars which is really convenient. They do not take Apple Pay so be sure to bring your physical card and i believe they still take cash at the bar.

Jo kurzeja ..

Yelp
Ray the head of security is the fucking best. I got hit in the head very hard and ray gave me water and helped me out a lot. Ray changed my experience completely, you need to give him a raise please. He singlehandedly carried the entire venue on his back. All the staff were extremely sweet and helpful and the venue was fun! Great experience

Yelp
Overall I absolutely love this venue. The location is the only reason it's not 5 stars (see below). As a metalhead this is the best place to see your favorite bands in an intimate venue. The place is clean, well run, and safe (inside). Folks look out for each other and I've never had a bad experience here. RAY+TEAM: I'm writing the review because of my last concert: I had knee surgery last month but could not miss seeing one of my favorite bands for the first time. I wore my brace and brought crutches to lean on as I knew it was standing only. I was having stress dreams about a mosh pit domino effect causing me to stumble and undo all my healing. When they opened the doors, the head of security, Ray, saw me and immediately jumped into ADA mode. He went and talked to the team, they got us chairs (for me and my partner) and let us sit in a safe, secure space that still had a great view and I felt absolutely safe. I could still stand when I wanted and move around in a very secure space. Ray introduced us to his team and made sure we were taken care of. Leaving the venue he checked in with us as well. DRINKS: The drinks are a little pricey -- there was no food but that's fine for the types of concerts. Their website shows a kitchen on the layout so it is a little misleading, but no problem. Honestly the drink prices don't affect my rating as I expect to pay premium for drinks esp when the ticket prices are cheaper (~$40 for a beer+shot and a mixed well drink). Honestly their VIP table package for 6 people will probably break even if not save money if you've got friends to go with. LOCATION: it is in a very unsafe part of town. Get a taxi there, and don't even dream of parking your car. I wouldn't want to leave my car, let alone walk even a block after leaving the venue. The taxi+a few drinks+ticket means you'll likely spend $200-300 on a worry-free night out. Leaving the venue is generally safe, despite the area, just because there's a lot of folks all waiting for rides and looking out for each other, and the security is out there keeping an eye. Overall, great spot for metal fans. Some of my most favorite gigs have been here. Just expect to spend a lot of money on drinks and taxi on top of ticket. The place is safe and clean inside (for a music venue) and all the folks who work there are great.

Yelp
Such a great venue...inside. We recently attended a concert here (shoutout JUNNY!) and the space was a perfect fit! Loved the chill ambiance, the bar area (which was sat on a ramp and served as an awesome viewpoint away from the craziness of the main floor), and of course the AC (quite essential during this insane heat we're having)! Cool and dark space, pretty lights, vibey crowd, and awesome music. Quite the backdrop for a great night. Now on to the surrounding area... The reviews don't lie. It is indeed sketchy. Point blank and period. To avoid the possibility of a break in, we decided to park our car elsewhere and get dropped off. Another thing to note is that street parking is the only option available and there's only so much of it. Cars were consistently just circling around and staking out. The venue does make an effort to counter this with their security team! Amazing guys who prioritize your safety and will wait for your ride to arrive. Overall, just proceed with caution and plan accordingly before your night out!

Arturo P.

Yelp
I showed up hoping to catch a show, couldn't find the place since it just looked like a run down garage. There was no parking, and the staff was not friendly or helpful, the place was ugly. There are much better things to do in LA
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
I go to this venue quite often and honestly? I really anticipate something unsafe going down there at some point -- because they don't seem to have any form of crisis management, crowd control, security, or organization. they get by because of the smaller events they hold - but anything slightly bigger? this place is a powder keg of safety concerns waiting to blow. parking is awful and also unsafe; I've seen attendees get their windows shattered. also no security there either, in case you were wondering. I honestly have never seen anyone at work there besides the bartenders... I'd recommend staying away from this place unless your FAVORITE act is playing there. otherwise - not worth the uneasiness and risking the safety issues.

Fatima I.

Yelp
Amazing venue and great security. Love the environment in places in when I step foot for a concert. The place/neighborhood outside is a bit sketchy but it doesn't take away from how fun the inside is. Came here 2/17 for a skramz concert and didn't look back! Bar is great and they pour out water cups for everyone, do not be intimidated, great place! (Be advised. Do not drive here please make sure to Uber/lyft)
google avatar

Stephanie Q.

Yelp
Just where the gigs are at. DO NOT PARK YOUR CAR HERE. Not safe parking anywhere nearby. I suggest Uber there or from arts district that's close by. Lots of people, including some I know, got their car windows broken into. Not the fault of the venue because nothing you can really do except adapt. But yea bathroom always functional, drinks served fast, security is pretty on it inside.
google avatar

Darwin C.

Yelp
Love this place, always a lot of fun. Drinks are fairly priced and the bartenders give you enough to make up for the ice you get everwhere. People who work there and customers are all cool. Great decor and vibes. Lots of fun events and nights. Sound is good, lots of areas to dance and mingle. My fave is Holy Trinity with Smiths, Cure, Depeche playing. Only downside is parking looks sketchy in the neighborhood but it is part of the excitement and industrial experience

Bella C.

Yelp
I went to see hol! A riddim, dubstep artist, Water was too expensive 8$ per bottle and no free water not even in the cups, which is unsafe for anyone honestly, especially when there's no AC running, and everyone's dancing in the room is hot. The alcohol was $30-$40 per double shot. I can get a double shot at the LA Palladium for $16. Honestly the venue was just too small for the amount of people that were there. if you're woman the outside is very unsafe. I would recommend going in a group. The security guards didn't do anything when I told them that some guy was pushing me and hurting me. To which this is why I'm giving it a 2 star. Besides that fact it was fun! I just would not go back.
google avatar

Lucia L.

Yelp
As a girl, I feel like I have to make this review in due diligence to others regarding 1720. There's nothing wrong with the actual venue itself, the acoustics are actually really good for such a small space, and the bartenders are extremely lovely and efficient. My gripe is the location- not only is it located by the exit right before the I-10 closure, but it's actually only TWO(?!) blocks away from the actual site of the fire. The surrounding area is horrible, with lots of homeless encampments, abandoned/empty warehouses, and dirty and largely empty streets. I didn't feel safe at all getting there/waiting in line, especially with homeless individuals directly approaching the front of the club and setting fires on the street leading to the club. I get the appeal of a warehouse turned club/venue, but I really hope that the club does more to ensure the safety of their patrons inside/around the venue.
google avatar

Kat M.

Yelp
Only giving 2 stars because the people working here were fantastic, but this place has a LONG way to go. If you're going to be charging $12 for a can of Tecate, you have to provide a much nicer place for people to spend their time. This is a warehouse in the middle of nowhere DTLA, there is no character, black boring walls and floors, sticky bar countertops, and disgusting bathrooms. I can't imagine coming back here to catch a show even if it's one of my favorite bands.
google avatar

Trevor H.

Yelp
Great venue. Good lighting. Ron, head of security, absolutely rocks! He took very good care of me and my partner during a concert there. Personal service like this is rare and deserves to be commended. All the staff were friendly. We had a great time and will be back! The only negative is the neighborhood, which they cannot control. Lyft or Uber are your best bet if you are coming here. If you do drive, make sure to take any valuables out of your car before coming. But don't let this stop you. The place is great.

Yelp
I paid money to attend a Taylor Swift dance party here . the DJ did not play Taylor Swift. The venue closed early and kicked us out. Additionally they did not offer us a refund and had no explanation why the venue was closing early despite my ticket promising the venue would play Taylor til 2am. The DJ literally walked off stage and did not explain why. I politely asked the staff what was happening and no one knew what was going on. The event management said to ask Eventbrite. Do not recommend this venue. zero out of 10. do not come here for any reason. I never post reviews. the fact that I am posting this means a lot. F this place. This is in a shady area of town and people were drinking expecting the venue to be open until 2 AM. they literally did everything in they're possible power to make us leave. it was very clear. They wanted us to leave. the area outside of the bar is super shady super unsafe for women. I would not recommend any woman coming here alone. even in groups, this area is super sketchy and not safe, and I Cannot understate the seriousness of the venue making an event that is geared towards women close early and just shut down. This Venue is garbage and I will never return

Yelp
This is the most disorganized, unprofessional venue ever. This security guard in this picture was rude, disrespectful, and dangerous. He kept talking to my younger sister who is a minor. We felt extremely uncomfortable and couldn't even enjoy the show. Please don't ever come here lol not worth it...

Yelp
DO NOT PARK HERE !! venue itself is okay but it's definitely hot in there (no ventilation whatsoever), location is a no ! i used to go here all the time and park on the streets a year ago or so and never had any issues but things have changed. the other night (12/18), 6 cars in a row got broken into literally before 11pm a corner from the venue (long beach ave). doorman at the venue dgaf, they should really create a parking lot or something or hire more security, there's literally only like 1 or 2 security guards there. and apparently, car break ins have become almost a weekly occurrence at this venue despite there literally being patrol and police both patrolling the area .....

Yelp
I used to love this venue but please please be careful of your belongings. There have been people coming and stealing phones and wallets. My phone and wallet was stolen last Friday right out of my purse. Other people's belongings were also stolen and security notified me that this has been happening every weekend. Please be mindful when coming here.

Yelp
Great venue, great security service and amazing bar tenders. Glad I was able to make it out to wonderful night of dark wave music and support a much needed cause. The venue is spacious, 2 full bars, food was delicious and bathrooms were clean! Only 4 stars because parking is super sketchy around the area, you have to park around the corner then walk to the venue and the streets are poorly lit. Can't wait to see another show here.

Yelp
Felt completely safe attending this venue, mainly due to security which was always making sure the crowd was okay during the show and after. I had a perfect experience after the show after everyone left, me and my group of friends were the last people their and the head of security "ray" was a super nice, friendly, security staff who made sure we had a ride home and made sure we were safe at all times and even offered water to make sure we stay hydrated will definitely come back to this venue souly because of ray making me and my gang feel the safest. Kid clan out!

Yelp
A literal scam of a venue. Went to an event and they literally kicked everyone out 1.5 hours before the listed end time on the ticket. First time going here, and the last. Extremely disappointed. Manager (junior) and dj Alex Jay were very unprofessional when bringing the issue to their attention.
