18 Restaurants Worth a Drive Out of Nashville - Eater Nashville

"This dining destination in Leiper’s Fork (the adorable unincorporated rural village in Williamson County) is a BYOB establishment oozing with old-school vibes, Southern charm, and a standout menu from chef Dylan Morrison. Named after the year the house it occupies was built, Morrison honors time-old culinary traditions with highlight dishes like a spicy-whipped pimento cheese, Waldorf salad, a Bear Creek Farms burger, and fig ravioli with blue cheese fonduta." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had the mushroom flatbread and tuna nachos as appetizers. The entrees were great! Make a reservation before you arrive. You will love this restaurant.

I know many know this place and this was our first time. Drive was lovely to this quaint town. This is so Tennessee to me. Just walking up I loved this place. Small intimate location as you approach. Not many tables so y'all need reservations. Greeted with a great Old Fashioned and great drinks from the bar. We had the chicken flatbread with chicken and the risotto. Both were delicious especially if you love mushrooms. The plates were generous and the service was good. Great atmosphere and worth the drive. Great place for a date but probably less for a big party. Gem in Leipers Fork. Look forward to it next time.

Wonderful restaurant that treated us very well on our anniversary. Started with Salmon toast. For entree's we had Filet served with an egg, sides of mashed potatoes and broccolini and 5-Spice Duck with carrots and sweet potato; unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the dessert but it was amazing.

Amazing venue, only 8 tables. Very eclectic with an old south feel. Make reservations- excellent for a special occasion. Pricey but worth it. Chef owned. Spaghetti squash entree rated very high in flavor, presentation, by my foodie friend.

Wonderful dine in experience. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is adorable. I recommend making a reservation on Open Table as they were turning away folks with no reservation and many tables were open. However, an A-list country singer was dining there and that may have had something to do with it. Highly recommend for a night with family or close friends.

The dinner was delicious with a new menu being offered often! I had the scallops and my husband had the fillet. Both tasted fresh and seasoned just right. The tuna stack was amazing! The atmosphere is like being transported back in time to an old farmhouse. So fun for our group of 8.

Drinks were very good. Ambience was definitely 5 stars and so was service. The Bibb salad and Ho cakes with pimento cheese were my favorite! Everyone we were with had a delicious meal. My two complaints are that my pork chop was a bit tough and it was a bit chilly with the a/c blowing. Worth the trip to Franklin for this meal!

Lovely experience. Everyone was kind and attentive! Highly recommend the 1892 Burger! The caesar salad with the bacon tomato jam + toast was also amazing. Can’t wait to come back!
